A Kettering house builder helps local football team kick off new season

A Kettering housebuilder is supporting local youngsters in sport by sponsoring Ise Lodge Ospreys Youth Football Club’s under 11s team.

Redrow Homes South Midlands has provided the team with full kits, including shorts, shirts, socks and jackets.

Ise Lodge Ospreys Youth FC, which has been running for nearly 40 years, is one of the largest youth football clubs in Northamptonshire. Each season it runs more than 30 youth sides, ranging from U7’s to U18’s.

Keith Beeby, coach at Ise Lodge Ospreys Youth FC, said: “We are thrilled to be sponsored by Redrow Homes and having a smart new kit has really helped the team kick off the new season in style.

“We have a great bunch of players that we are really proud of, they all deserve to feel a sense of pride when they step out on the football pitch. The team is made up of players from several different primary schools in Kettering, who have all come together as a team to play football. The ethos of the team is to always try your hardest and have fun, which we look forward to doing in the coming season!”

Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), added: “Ise Lodge Ospreys Youth FC is an invaluable part of the local community, and we are proud to play a part in its ongoing success.

“The club’s dedication is fantastic, and it’s great to see the enthusiasm of all of the team members. The kit looks brilliant and we wish the team the best of luck throughout the season!”

The sponsorship is fitting with Redrow’s ongoing commitment to promote health, wellbeing and excellence, especially among young people.

Five years after construction started on site, Redrow South Midland’s Castle Fields development on Manor Lane in Barton Seagrave has now sold out.

The development has provided more than 1,000 jobs for local people, 427 new homes for local residents, and a community estimated at 1,281.
