This Christmas, Marks and Spencer’s has upped its game with some incredible choices to spice up your buffet, after dinner treats or party pieces. At Northampton Life we’ve been lucky enough to give you a sneak peak of some of the options available.

Port in a Decanter Bottle – £16 

This bottle is the perfect after dinner tipple, the lovely bottle will look elegant on your table and is a respectable £16 which is perfect to gift or receive this Christmas time.

Cranberry and Clementine Bucks Fizz – £6

Start the celebrations off with a glass of fizz. We all know the food and drink rules go out of the window on Christmas Day so pour yourself a glass of this juicy sweet fizz to enjoy the day. We all know how christmassy cranberries and clementines are so this juice will quickly get you in the spirit. This also has a beautiful bottle so would make a great gift.

Winter Spiced Mix Nuts – £6

These nuts would be perfect with a glass of port to take you into the evening. With a gorgeous warm cayenne pepper glaze, these are a great alternative to regular peanuts and will be liked by all!

Winter Berries and Prosecco & Port and Stilton Crisps – £2 each 

It’s not a party without some crisps, especially M&S’s incredible flavour selection. These will cause arguments over which one is the best. The crisps have been created with Christmas in mind to bring strong flavours to a delectable snack.

Six Month Matured Golden Snowflake Christmas Cake – £6

This cake will be perfect for small families who want to enjoy a Christmas cake without feeling like they will be eating it into January. The decoration is a beautiful shimmering snowflake which will take pride of place after the roast dinner or with a cup of tea.

Merry Percymas Percy Pig Sweets- £1.65

Percy Pig is a classic from Marks and Spencer’s food hall and he’s back with his Christmas hat on this year. These are great stocking fillers and enjoyed by all of the family.

Shimmering Milk Chocolate Acorns – £5

These acorns are similar to ferrero rocher but they are super smooth with a nutty taste. The acorns have a gold shimmer with a nutty filled base. These are the perfect treat chocolate as you only need one at a time and would make a great stocking filler.

No one has been forgotten this year with the Gluten Free version of their Christmas Pudding. A Christmas classic that brings a heavy fruitcake to your festivities. This is a great cake that serves four people and has been matured for six months making it a lovely treat with a cup of tea.

Twelve Month Matured Intensely Fruity Christmas Pudding – £12

This pudding isn’t gluten free but it’s matured for a year making it even denser than the other cakes. This is a real treat if you like a fruit cake and although it serves four, I’m sure it can go much further as you won’t need a lot to tick off that sweet tooth!
