SUMMARY:Fused Glass Garden Art Workshop by Sally McRae
DESCRIPTION:At this workshop you will have a choice of making either a copper frames garden piece which stands in the soil\, or a wall/fence panel which has ‘stand-off‘ fixings allowing for the sun to shine through. \nThe workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience as the small group of up to 8 people allows me to give everyone the attention they need to design and make a beautiful piece of glass. \nDepending on the complexity of your design and the speed you work\, it may take the full five hours to make your garden piece. Others may finish much faster. To allow for the different speeds and designs I alway bring along a second small project such as a light catcher which is included in the cost of the workshop. For those that work super fast and have time to make a second (or larger copper framed) piece I charge an additional £30 to cover the cost of the materials and kiln firing. \nAfter the workshop I will take your glass home and fire it in my kiln and it will be ready to collect from Lamport Hall in 14 days.
