The countdown to Christmas at Delapré Abbey has begun, with the Northampton Winter Light Trail set to transform the grounds into an even bigger and brighter festive experience. Featuring all-new immersive installations and magical photo opportunities, this year’s trail promises to bring families together for an unforgettable celebration of colour, sound, and wintry wonder.
Tickets are now on sale for the festive favourite, which runs from 27th November 2026 to 3rd January 2027, featuring larger than life walk-through installations and a brand new trail route.
Super off-peak, off-peak, standard and peak tickets are available with prices starting from £17 per adult, £12.50 per child and children under 3 years old go free. Visitors can also save 10% when purchasing the Early Bird pre-sale ticket.
This Christmas, visitors can look forward to the enchanting after-dark trail with all-new interactive activities, immersive soundscapes and illuminations which highlight favourite features of the historic Delapré Abbey.
With food pit stops along the light trail, families can also fill their boots with festive delights in the Food Village before or after exploring the mile-long trail where they can enjoy a range of sweet and savoury treats from independent stalls, followed by a trip to Après Ski bar.
Whether it’s toasted marshmallows with hot chocolate or a frosty beer or mulled wine with delicious festive Yorkshire pudding wraps, it’s set to be a magical shared experience for all. A private mini chalet is also available to book for groups of 8-10 to exclusively dine in.
What’s more, visitors have the chance to deck the paws and take festive walks with their four-legged companions in tow as the dog-friendly trail offers a pawsome way for families to experience the wonders of Christmas at Delapré Abbey without leaving their dogs at home.
