A brand-new immersive after-dark experience is coming to Kelmarsh Hall this autumn, inviting visitors of all ages to step into an enchanting woodland where magic, mystery and storytelling come to life.
Running from 31 October 2026 until 2 January 2027, Forest of Secrets transforms the historic grounds of Kelmarsh Hall into a spectacular illuminated trail filled with breathtaking light installations, immersive soundscapes, interactive moments and unforgettable theatrical scenes. As darkness falls, guests will follow a lantern-lit path through an ancient forest that is slowly awakening, uncovering hidden encounters, unlocking magical moments and piecing together the story of a world where secrets have lain dormant for centuries.
Designed for families, friends and anyone looking for a memorable festive outing, the experience lasts approximately 45 minutes, offering an evening of wonder, discovery and shared adventure in one of Northamptonshire’s most beautiful settings.
Visitors can enjoy a relaxed arrival with parking and booking fees included in every ticket. Entry times will run from 4.00pm until 9.00pm, allowing guests to experience the trail as twilight gives way to darkness. The route has been designed to be accessible for wheelchair and pushchair users wherever possible, although, as the experience takes place within a natural woodland, some sections include uneven ground and gravel paths.
Throughout the evening, guests will also be able to enjoy a selection of hot food, seasonal drinks and sweet treats, creating the perfect winter evening out. Guests are
